Who Are We?
The Foresight and Metrics to Accelerate Food, Land, and Water System Transformation study team consists of researchers from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), academics from the Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University, and practitioners at Bappenas, supported by The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and Alliance Bioversity International and CIAT (ABC). The team conducted a study on Indonesia’s Agrifood Systems and Economic Growth Projection Towards Indonesia Emas 2045 (Indonesia’s food and agricultural systems, in relation to the national economic structure and projections of future agricultural and economic growth, by analyzing the factors driving its growth towards Indonesia Emas 2045).
Our Vision & Mission
To implement a quantitative analysis of major long-term drivers in the agrifood system supported by existing literature and strong data evidence to project and understand how agrifood system in Indonesia would evolve in the future.
To conduct simulation analyses utilizing IFPRI’s economic modeling tools to complement evidence and analytical results derived from the first research component.
To increase public awareness of the research outputs and promote policy discussions with policy makers and other development partners.
